Three Associates Receive Symantec Awards

Symantec-AwardsThe receivers of 2010 New Zealand Partner Awards were declared at Symantec Technology Briefings Function.

The awards were given based on the performance in revenue field, certification, technical and marketing expertise, and customer service quality.

Three Companies that received the award were: Datastor, the winner of Pacific Distributor of the Year; Gen-I, which won the New Zealand Enterprise Value Partner of the Year; and Maclean Computing, receiver of New Zealand SMB Value Partner of the Year.

The Vice President and Managing Director of Symantec, Craig Scroggie applauded the winners.

He said that these three Companies’ hard work and complete devotion towards Symantec’s storage, security, and systems have won them these awards.

In the previous week, Symantec launched its latest IT Compliance and Foundational Enterprise Security System. It will help its members to get partners, who specialise in a particular technology or area.

Scroggie said that Symantec is always there to help its partners in attaining high profits with the help of different educational and skilled programmes.

While giving away the award to Datastor, Steve Martin, Symantec’s SMB Sales Director said that its partners have increased their business with Symantec by 65% year after year.

Previously, Symantec has received Symantec's Asia Pacific and Japan distributor award.
