RIM Ready to offer Metadata to Government

RIM-MetadataRIM has agreed to offer Metadata available to Indian Government.

RIM claims to provide the Indian Government with metadata of the emails sent and received using its BES servers. The service will aid to enable the Government to intercept e-mails making it inaccessible to the Government, which comes with RIM's impregnable security layer that is offered by its servers.

Apparently the latest version might come in with real persuasion by Government soon after RIM was questioned. The metadata offers detailing of e-mail and its content. The metadata will not offer government anything which is not accessible.

RIM which also comes with service providers is stick in controversy and offers a support for providing an access to mails to all security agencies for monitoring purposes that has to deal with service providers and will be having services that offers communication using BlackBerry devices.

Saudi Arabia too has banned BlackBerry servers has temporarily withheld the ban that lingers with the discussion amidst Government and RIM.
