Microsoft's Kin which has been in line for a while has come with the latest version of mobile platform from the same makers.
The latest version of the mobile prototype smartphone and supposedly called as 'Menlo' and is known to be one of the touchscreen device that comes with a capacitive touch screen (4.1-inch diagonal, 800x480) and offers the latest device that comes with well to do features.
The phone comes with the specificities that have been incorporated in the latest Microsoft Research Paper (PDF) entitled as User Experiences with Activity-Based Navigation on Mobile Devices.
In addition to that the phone is based on Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2 that comes with a Bosch BMA150 3-axis accelerometer and Bosch BMP085 digital pressure sensor (barometer).
The paper has a mention of "Greenfield", which supposedly is an activity-based navigation app that is based on users that are specified on parked car.
This supposedly is a development that aims towards Microsoft opting for developing the latest smartphone. This proves to be one of the accomplishments of the device.
