ThyssenKrupp reports profit in June quarter

ThyssenKrupp-AGThyssenKrupp AG has informed that, there has been a huge rise in its net profit and revenues in the first quarter of the ongoing financial year. ThyssenKrupp AG is one of the leading steelmaker from Germany.

According to a statement released by the company at Berlin, it has earned euro298 million from during the April-June quarter. It has also informed that there has been a remarkable hike in the number of orders in this period of time.

The revenue of the firm has grown up during the June quarter of the year. For the third quarter in the fiscal year 2009-10, the firm had suffered a net loss of euro630 million.

As per ThyssenKrupp officials the firm has received orders almost 38% more than that of the previous figure.

It has got orders of euro10.93 billion in the reviewed quarter as compared to euro7.93 billion in its corresponding quarter in the preceding year. The revenue of the firm has gone up by 26% and touched euro11.68 billion which was euro9.3 billion in its like period a year ago.
