As per rumors, Sony will be working on powerful Android 3.0 smartphone, which are capable of running PSX or PSP games.

It has been expected that Sony will follow the patterns of PSP Go.  D-pad and PlayStation controls will replace the normal mobile phone QWERTY keyboard and joystick will be replaced by a 'long touch pad'.

According to the sources, the Company is actively planning to come up with the brand new platform of games by developing a device, which is already in the late stages of planning.

The handset will have large display size between 3.7 and 4.1 inches and have WVGA resolution or might be better than that.

The mobile phone is also expected to be powered by the standard 1Ghz Snapdragon processor and have a camera with 5 megapixel.

Engadget claims to have information that both PlayStation and Xperia will be present in the handset and its color is black with silver highlights and it also has white colored gaming pad beneath.

It may be powered by Android 3.0, which is known as Gingerbread. Less information is available about the new Android OS but it may have a new user interface and high resolution capabilities.
