Microsoft’s Upcoming Product Updates

Microsoft logoMicrosoft shared that the IE 9 beta will be at a marketing event launched in San Francisco on Sept. 15. It will be a fully functional browser. The IE 9 will adhere to advanced developing standards, like HTML 5 and CSS 3. In order to speed up the graphics performance, it will also tap graphics processing unit hardware in the devices.

The most interesting fact is that IE 9 runs on Windows Vista and Windows 7. No Windows XP support is needed for this browser, as per what Microsoft has announced.

In the fourth quarter of this year, Microsoft is releasing Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization SP1 Version 2. With its help the virtualized desktop apps will feel more native. Briton Zurcher, a product manager on Microsoft's MED-V team shared that it will also manage to increase IT administrator controls.

The users of virtual machine applications will be able to save their documents to the base document-folder of Windows 7, in MED-V SP1 Version 2.

An update to Opalis 6.2.2 will be released by Microsoft in the fourth quarter of this year. It is an automated management and orchestration platform, which will keep in control, the services, accessed in a datacenter that works with Microsoft's System Center product line. It will mainly give support to Microsoft's existing client as well as server operating systems.
