The US President Mr. Barack Obama has vowed to restore the tourism sector of Gulf to revive the economy of the state after the disastrous oil spill and also urged the people to step forward to the industry is such situation.
Mr. Obama has also said that, the oil is no more gushing in to the sea but there are lots of things to be done. The President has visited the affected areas with his elder daughter and wife.
The US incident commander Admiral Thad Allen has said that, the work to seal the well permanently would start very soon which was stopped due to the fears of tropical storm. Mr. Obama has also praised the US coast guards for their day and night effort to seal the oil leak.
The president has invited the Americans to spend their holidays in Florida to help and raise the economy of the state and confirmed that the beaches are totally safe, open and cleaned. Tourism is the main inflow of the economy of Florida.
