Bruce Patten Wins NZMBA Broker of the Year TitleAnnual Broker of the Year Awards was announced by the NZ Mortgage Brokers Association. Bruce Patten was given the title of NZMBA Broker of the Year, last Friday night. He had been a finalist for the last six years, but never won the prize. He was really happy, as he had shed any expectations to win the title.

He shared that she was speechless, which was unusual for him.

The business Loan Market belonging to Patten got success this time, as it adapted itself according to the circumstances and change. His Loan Market evolved every year since it begun in 2002.

Hayden Marshall from the Finance Marshall has been announced as the First runner-up for Broker of the year, while the second runner up prize was bagged by Paul Fuller from Prosper Group. Among the other award winners, Geoff Bawden received the Geoff Chong Memorial Award. The Lender of the Year Award was bagged by Westpac.

Westpac is focused on delivering the customer first approach and the award was the recognition of same, shared Chief Operating Officer, Brian Hayr. He said, "The award follows a lot of work across a number of teams in the business to improve our systems and processes so we can deliver faster and more effective service".
