Google has released the latest voice based control applications for Android-based smartphones.
The voice based action program aid users to direct commands to their smartphones and thus enables to write texts, e-mails and even find road directions, as stated by the Associated Press has reports.
The applications works fine with 12 commands including calling, texting, browsing and GPS navigating.
Product manager Hugo Barra and engineering manager Dave Burke stated:"Voice Actions are a series of spoken commands that let you control your phone using your voice. Even though our phones do all these new things, the most natural way of interacting with a phone remains: speaking."
It was further stated that the Voice Actions application syncs perfectly well with smartphones that run on the latest Android 2.2 operating system, codenamed Froyo.
The present edition works perfectly well with English, the application will be staged for the upcoming Droid 2.
