For first time users, TomTom has introduced a GPS device that is simpler to work with and perfect for users who are unfamiliar with the technology. Christened the TomTom Start, the device helps introduce novices to the world of in-car navigation and is priced at $199.
Interesting features of the TomTom Start include a 3.5 inch touch screen, an easy to use menu and voice over for street names. In addition, the new gadget comes equipped with an EasyPort mount which, makers claim, can easily be slipped in pockets, bags and glove compartments.
As shared by the company, its IQ Routes are all set to work really well with Start and provide users with the fastest route to their destination at any time of the day. The firm boasts of over 800 billion speed profiles all over the world.
TomTom Australia and New Zealand's Marketing Manager, Chris Kearney said, "With the introduction of TomTom Start, navigation has never been so accessible. We have redefined ease of use and taken affordable navigation to the next level - and this is done while always providing drivers with the fastest route to their destination with TomTom IQ Routes".
The TomTom Start will be available for purchase starting this month.
