At the start of month Taiwanese daily Digitimes had hinted that Apple might be releasing a 7-inch iPad, a device which is three inches smaller with regard to current electronic device.
As of now, the latest update claims comes from Economic Daily News (EDN) reports the same, with a few differences in details compared to the first report.
EDN claims that this new device will be weighing approximately 500 gms, when compared to the existing device whose weight is 700 grams.
The paper highlights the fact that the device will make use of the same IPS display as compared to the present IPS model, while the previous article stated that the device would come with a revamped OLED display.
The latest report adds that Apple might release the device in the end of 2010, which seems to be an unlikely event.
Apple didn’t comment on any of these reports.
