Telecom has announced to soon start a marketing drive for making its XT 3G network popular in the country by offering new incentives for new customers. The new offers can be availed up to January 31 next year for the new sign-ups.
The firm, under its revised strategy, will pay focus on SMS users like it had done few years back by introducing its $10 text promo.
Telecom is reportedly offering unlimited SMS to customers for a year period with its $12 month text plan. The offer is subjected to a Fair Use Policy but customers would have freedom to send messages at any network in New Zealand.
The firm would offer up to 800 minutes air time under $150 One Rate 400 plan. Besides, new plans for mobile data downloading are also announced to woo customers. It would offer 2GB data for $50 on a two-year contract but customers have to pay another $30 for availing further 2GB.
Telecom would offer 4GB data for $70 on a two-year contract and $30 as surplus charge for availing another 4GB. The firm had launched its XT network in May and it aims to increase its customer's strength to 200,000.
