The newest form of user interface from Microsoft, Bing is a hit in US and Canada. This was said by the company and said that Yahoo has also getting benefited because of the same in these two countries.
The announcement is being looked at as an important one since the two companies have already signed a 10-year deal. As per this Microsoft will be powering the Yahoo search engine and will be using Microsoft's AdCenter advertising platform in return.
The deal has already been fully approved by the authorities in US and it is expected to be implemented in another two years time.
Meanwhile, said Microsoft that Bing is only powering results in English in US and Canada. It said that the other languages will become operational very soon and that will adds loads to the bottom lines.
Yahoo has said just week that it is moving over to Bing for its back-end research and that the same will be shown on the website as well.
As for the shift over to AdCenter, the work is still going on. The company said that the priority as of now is to provide the customers the necessary transition experience.
