Auckland based laboratory, Labtests, which has currently been facing some tough times, now has a new Chief Executive, Dr. Craig Marshall, who is all set to replace Ulf Lindskog in a formal ceremony on November 09. Ulf Lindskog had stepped down a little over a month ago and while the company's position as such was vacant, Paul Waterson was acting as the interim Chief Executive, who will now hand over all duties to Dr. Marshall.
A graduate of Otago University Medical School, Dr. Marshall has an impressive resume which includes 10 years as Chief Executive of the White Cross Group of Accident and Emergency Clinics as well as 4 years of management at the Southern Community Laboratories.
"Craig's medical background, not only as a practitioner but also as an administrator and company director brings an important skill set to Labtests. We are confident that he has right mix of experience required to lead the business", said Dr. Michael Coglin, Healthscope's Chief Medical Officer.
Up until Dr. Marshall was appointed Labtests' Chief Executive, he was serving as the Chief Executive of Corporate Cabs, a renowned taxi company.
