Credit card delinquencies fall down in Q2Data provided by consumer credit rating agency, TransUnion, the number of credit card delinquencies have gone down during the second quarter. This has happened in the background of individuals' average balance being hit by eight-year low and non-payments levels which came down.

The data comes just after the announcement that the level of usage of credit cards by Americans has gone down for 21 straight months. The spenders are acting as savers and there is rampant fear that economy will go back to recession level.

The credit cards due accounting for 90 days or more overdue were at 0.92 per cent, which is lesser that 21 per cent than the last year. As per TransUnion, the level will remain lesser than 1 per cent during the year.

It was in Nevada that the second-quarter delinquencies were the highest and looking at the level it is going to have the highest level by the year at 1.6 per cent. North Dakota, stood at the total opposite and saw the lowest level.

The average for individuals also dropped for fifth straight quarter.
