WPP has reported profits of 244 million pounds boosted by growing advertising market

WPP-ProfitThe world's largest advertising group WPP has reported pre-tax profits of 224 million pounds up by 36% in the first six months of this year.

According to WPP, the growth in its profits were boosted by the growth of advertising markets in the US and UK, but it has also said the strongest markets of this current time are still the Asian markets. According to the chief executive of WPP, Sir Martin Sorrell the mild expansion in the markets is replacing the fear phase of the markets that was holding it back.

As per the experts, the business growth of WPP is a healthy indication about the future of companies and the WPP has reported a 3.5% rise in its revenues to 4.4 billion pounds.

The clients of WPP which include the companies like Unilever and Vodafone said the sales in the first six months of the year were boosted by the strong growth in the largest advertising market of the globe, US.

The revenues of WPP in the US grew up almost 4% in the first quarter and almost by 8% in the second quarter of 2010 after facing a 6% fall in the last quarter of 2009.
