OrkutWith facebook becoming the most popular social networking site, its biggest competitor Orkut is also buckling up its shoes swiftly. As it has introduced new features in its site that gives the users more control over data sharing.

The social networking site that lost its share with the advent of facebook will allow its users to define and customise group settings. This means that users can choose if they want certain content to be viewed only by a specific group of people.

Orkut has been on the revamping mode since last year and the company has been trying hard to regain its lost sheen. As India was one of the few countries where Orkut was ranked as the No. 1 social networking site until facebook dethroned it.
