At the Paris Motor Show scheduled next month, Suzuki will likely unveil the Kizashi Sport model – with the debut of the Euro-spec vehicle following the debut of the US-spec model unveiled at the New York Motor Show.
The key features of the US model of Kizashi include 18-inch, lightweight alloy wheels; a 10mm lower ride height; a honeycomb lower grille; somewhat different front bumper; side skirts; and a boot lid spoiler. On the inside, the vehicle boasts a steering wheel with perforated leather; and leather seats with complementary stitching and aluminum accents.
Other than the Kizashi Sport model, Suzuki will also probably debut one of its most intriguing new models – the all-new Swift hatchback - at the Paris Auto Show. The car, though fairly similar to its predecessor, will feature a striking new underneath and inside.
The new Swift, which was earlier unveiled in Japan last week, will be on sale in Europe this fall; though there are, thus far, no indications of the model’s likely arrival at the US dealerships this year.
Following Suzuki’s sportier, more upscale look – which the company effectively established with the 2010 Kizashi sedan – the new Swift model is nearly about 151 inches long and includes Engine Auto Start Stop to save fuel in stop-and-go driving.
The new Swift, which Suzuki intends offering with front- and all-wheel drive, will initially feature a 94-hp, 1.2-liter gasoline engine and a 74-hp, 1.2-liter turbo-diesel – both the engines to come with a five-speed manual.
