Reports suggesting that although the leap in the value of home prices has been waning on a national scale, Northern Territory continues to see the house prices surging as the months pass.
By September 2009, home prices have surged by 8 per cent nationally while Darwin rose by 11.5 per cent, Melbourne by 12.6 per cent and Sydney by 9.4 per cent. However, few experts say that the future surge or decline of prices remain to be seen as the grant for people owning homes for the first time was cut down.
There was also a scale showing that the capitals have been declining in September as Brisbane went down by 1.3 per cent, Adelaide by 0.4 per cent and in Perth by 2.5 per cent.
It is said that growth that is booming, reported by many experts, may even be relating to the various past conditions rather than the present and there are no evidences that prices could accelerate.
Although the question prevails whether September is a momentary hiatus or a generalized cooling, house price growths are projected at low rates as the mortgage rates gradually shows increase.
