Hewlett-Packard has once again revised its takeover offer for 3PAR. Last week it has offered a better per share offer against its contemporary rival Dell. For the second time it has posted a higher offer for 3PAR than Dell. It has been informed that HP has revised to $ 33 per share. This has become a “superior proposal” to the bid earlier made by Dell.
Both the computer makers are eyeing to takeover 3PAR and it has loaded with offers from both the parties for quite few time. 3PAR is one of the leading storage solutions company. It has informed that earlier Dell has quoted an offer price of $ 32 per share.
The company has also said that it is now planning to terminate the takeover agreement with Dell and it is getting better offer from HP. In a statement, 3PAR has stated that HP has agreed to buy all the 3PAR’s outstanding common stock at $ 33 per share which is $1 more than Dell. The board is yet to decide to scrap the existing deal with Dell.
