While the fight for the top slot in the Indian luxury car segment is mainly between Mercedes and BMW, the third German companion, Audi India is also catching up really fast.
As per the sales figures released by the company, the company has sold close to 1876 cars from January–August period this year. It is to be mentioned here that the company has zoomed past its last year’s annual sales of 1658 cars that it sold in the past entire year.
Michael Perschke, Head – Audi India said that the company is very excited about the fact that it has already surpassed the last year's annual sales and it is very much confident of the fact that it will be able to match its targets in this year.
In fact, Perschke also mentioned the fact that as the company is working according to its philosophy of ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’, it is expected that more and more consumers will be attracted towards the Audi brand in times to come.
It is to be mentioned here that the company offers Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A8, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi TT and the super sports car Audi R8 to the Indian consumer.
