Snow fall has pulled down the profits of Goal Soccer CentersAccording to the reports of Goal Soccer Centers, exceptional snow fall has wiped away 800,000 pounds from the company's profits in the first half of this year.

As per the records the East Killbride firm Goal Soccer made pre-tax profits of 2.7 million pounds in the first six months of this year which was a drop of more than 1 million pounds compared to the same time period of last year. The firm operates 37 centers in the UK and a joint venture in California, US.

It has also plans to create 40 new centers to continue its expansion. Despite of the fall in its profits the overall sales of the company rose up by 3%. The FIFA world cup also boosted the sales of the company in many areas.

The managing director of Goals, Keith Rogers said the football world cup increased the demands of the company's key products.

The consumer outlook of UK for the company remains uncertain but the managing director believes that the financial results of the company for this year to 31 December of 2010 will definitely show continued growth for the firm.
