A necessary update for gamers has been released that takes care of jailbreak needs.
Sony has launched a recent firmware update for PlayStation 3 game console rendering it to be a "minor" mandatory update.
The latest PS3 update 3.42 patches all needs of jailbreaking for the game console. This update is in concern with the latest release by PSGroove jailbreak source code by PS3 hacking community members which were offered by jailbreakers via the aid of game console.
It was further stated that Sony's PlayStation 3 developers have been offered in the form of firmware 3.42 update to stop the exploitation that commences the jailbreak.
Eric Lempel, Director for Hardware Marketing stated through a blog post via the official PlayStation Blog and comprises of additional security features.
Sony in similar lines has claimed of installing other OS supports from the early models of PlayStation 3. PlayStation 3 hacking community has now released the PSGroove jailbreak for PS3 executed via iPhone, Android phone, and even TI Calculator.
