With the proclamation of GeForce 400M Series GPUs it is now possible to have DirectX 11, 3D Vision and Nvidia Optimus technology in laptops.
Seven new graphics processors for laptops have been released by Nvidia. It is further added that the latest GeForce 400M series graphics processors (GPUs) are the first of the lot that are based on Nvidia Fermi architecture.
The latest Nvidia GeForce GTX 400M series GPUs offers 3D experience with 3D Vision technology support. It offers an optimum battery life that comes with Nvidia Optimus technology which is intermediary between integrated graphics and discrete graphics.
The latest Nvidia GeForce 400M GPUs come with Nvidia's next generation computational graphics architecture Fermi, better known as GF100 GPU chip. It is designed in such a manner to offer High Definition video and graphics.
The models have been categorized in various models to offer a better experience which speak of GeForce GTX 460M (192 CUDA cores) and GeForce GTX 470M (288 CUDA cores).
