In order to make the automotive boom in the domestic circuit continue, the auto majors are launching refresh models of the product in their existing portfolio.
It is to be mentioned here that the market leader Maruti Suzuki introduced the Alto K10 with a view to get additional volumes in its kitty from the largest selling passenger vehicle in the Indian market.
Similarly, Hyundai is lining up the launch of the VTVT variant of the Hyundai i10 that will be launched by the company on the 23rd September to ensure that the flagship model of the company remains the apple of the eye of the Indian consumer.
The Indian subsidiary of the Italian auto major, FIAT is also planning to come up with a new variant of Linea in the coming weeks. It may be recalled here that FIAT also launched the 90HP model of its hatchback Punto a few months back.
The idea is to ensure that the consumer gets to see something new from the door of the Indian automobile companies and hence, it is believed that the excitement level of the consumer will stay longer than expected.
