Buffalo Japan has unveiled a mobile 3D Blu-ray drive and supposedly tainted to be an offering which shall challenge the likes of rivals.
The model was named as the BG3D-PI6U2-BK, a portable 3D Blu-ray drive which was officially proclaimed by Buffalo Japan pronounced in the present week.
On only needs to plug the device into their Windows PC via the USB port and thou shall be able to view 3D Blu-ray movies, obviously one needs to have a 3D-enabled display monitor or television.
The dimensions of the drive speak come at 5.39 x 5.78 x 0.78-inches and weighs 340g. Buffalo's BG3D-PI6U2-BK can easily write data to BD-R/RDL6 discs at 6x and BD-RE/RE DL discs at 2x speed.
The drive is priced at 30,000 yen (a bit over $350 USD). It will soon be released in Japan the coming month, and soon be hitting North America later this year.
