Brendan-Barber-tucThe Unions have supported for the joint industrial action if the cuts make its harmful impact on the pensions, jobs and public services. The annual meeting of TUC has decided to form a board to tackle with the problems raised by the spending cuts.

The chief of the TUC, Brendan Barber has warned that the rising cuts will send the economy of UK deeper in to trouble.

Meanwhile the Prime Minister of UK Mr. David Cameron made a statement that the government wanted the help of Unions to deal with the country's deficit. This is the 142nd annual meeting of TUC and the first one under a non-Labor government since the year 1996.

The TUC will examine the steps taken by the coalition government to reduce the 155 billion pound deficit of the country.

Most of the government departments are advised to save at least 20%-25% of their spending ahead of the spending review which is to be unveiled on 20th October. This idea could lead to a number of strikes by the opposition and put pressure on the coalition government.
