Kate PerrottWhat one plans does not always materialize.
Kate Perrott also had planned that she wouldn’t think about breast cancer this year, however, after she was invited to join Tauranga Breast Cancer Support Service in its Breast Cancer Awareness Month, she found it difficult to say no.
In the month of January last year, she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, and she was just 28 years old then.
The next month, she underwent mastectomy and in April, chemotherapy.
She did get married to her lover, Luke in March, but had to call off her honeymoon.
As now she better, it is quite comprehendible that she desired to take a break from all this trouble.
Although she said that she wanted to let go off all that was related to the illness but at the same time her passion for breast cancer awareness compelled her to support Tauranga Breast Cancer Support Service, and she is all up for it.
She would be seen walking alongside other breast cancer sufferers and survivors with many models at a fashion show, which will initiate the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Bethlehem Town Centre will play the host to Proudly Pink Summer Fashion Show to be held on 30th of September.
