The Big Carrot Muffin ‘The Best’ These days handy meals are getting popular with people, especially the muffins, which come in many varieties from chocolate to fruit flavors.

But, the question remains in the minds that whether the muffins contain wholesome ingredients to suffice for a meal? Similar doubt was raised by Rebecca, a regular consumer of muffins about the muffins sold at The Big Carrot; that whether the Toronto’s most renowned store offers an adequate and smart diet.

She expressed that she was a fan of the Big Carrot muffins and wanted to know if they were a good alternative for an adequate diet. To respond to the Rebecca’s query, the Dish conducted tests on the Big Carrot’s dried apple bran muffin.

Zannat Reza, a registered dietitian, stated that the muffin had 358 calories, 2.5 grams of fat and 280 mg of sodium, which made it good option in comparison to other muffins.

Though the calorie content was the same in the raisin bran muffin at Tim Hortons and Starbucks’ apple bran muffin, the Big Carrot’s product excelled in terms of low fats and sodium.

Reza says, “The Big Carrot muffin definitely has a few things going for it compared to other popular bran muffins”.

The ingredients used in the Big Carrot’s muffins are: whole spelt flour, oat bran, sunflower oil and dried apples, along with other six more components.
