A series of School Holiday Development Programmes will be organised at Mt. Hutt Ski Area. The main aim of the programme would be to attract children towards the mountain, so that they can enjoy the fresh mountain air, while having fun and gaining confidence on the snow.
The Spring Festival will be a 10-day long event, in which families, individuals, and groups will gather at Mt. Hutt Ski Area and participate in skiing programme.
For skiing, a two-metre long snow base has been built for the visitors. Dave Wilson, who is the Ski Area Manager, is very excited about the festival and said that the high country ski area is ready to welcome the skiing enthusiasts.
Mr. Dave also said that the next two weeks will be action packed and will have a wide range of activities. He also mentioned that the snow cover is just splendid and there will be something for all age groups both on and off the snow.
He further added that this is the best time of the year, when everyone is laid back and enjoy their lives.
The five-day long Kruiser Squad holiday programme will start on 27 September. Skiers between the age group of 5 and 17 can take part in this activity.
For more advanced skiers between the age 12 and 17, there will be Max Vertical three-day programme that will start on 28 September and conclude on 30 September.
