Starship's Spring Clean will also be motivated by ASB, as it has planned to sell the renowned props of Goldstein Manor, who endorsed the Ira Goldstein ad campaign.
The proceedings from the sale of Goldstein items will be infused by ASB in the family area at the Neurological and Medical Specialty Wards at Starship Children's Hospital.
People of New Zealand are being urged by the Starship Spring Clean to sell their redundant goods on trade. The funds will help refurbish Level 6 at Starship. With the planned gradations, there would be more conducive emotional, social and survival environment for the patients in the new wards.
Andrew Young, Starship Foundation CEO said, "Our relationship with ASB dates back to 1991; with the partnership securing significant funding for Starship - including a Term Deposit campaign that raised funds for two new incubators earlier this year”.
Goldstein's products that would be included in the sale include: Briefcase, farmer's hat, bowling shirt and ball, glasses, golf outfit, fishing outfit, cowboy outfit and World's Fastest Motorbike goggles. The auctioning will start from Monday and will shut down on October 1.
The auction success fees of the products will be refunded by the Starship for those who sell their commodities through Starship Spring Clean on Trade Me and donate the amount generated to Starship.
