After a 10-year old girl was tried to be abducted from the busy roads of Christchurch, the Police are trying very hard to find out the man and the motive behind the case.

In the case that happened at 9 AM in the morning when the girl was tried to be pushed inside a car that was being driven by an older man.

People who were present during that time said that the man was in his 30's and was around 1.7 m tall. They said that he stopped his car, approached the girl who was on the footpath. He later invited her to come inside his car and when she refused to do so, he tried to pull her inside.

But the girl was able to break free and ran away from the scene. She later ran inside her house. She said to the Police in her testimony that she first noticed the red car which was shiny and that it was going towards Lyttelton.

She also said that the man had short hairs and was in black colored clothes. He was also wearing grey and black speckled gloves.
