A planned virus attack crumbled the Iran’s nuclear installations and also paralyzed the personal computers of top officials of the country’s atomic program.
Mahmoud Jafari, the Director of Iran's Bushehr reactor, has also been affected by the malware, which is believed to have been developed by with technical assistant from Western World.
Irana news agency reported that Stuxnet worm had also attacked the crippled the systems of other Bushehr managers and officials of Iran's Atomic Energy Agency.
The news agency Irana, quoted that according to Jafari, experts have been appointed to remove the malware and this virus has not done any major damage to the systems at Bushehr.
The light water reactor which has been built with Russian aid will start its operation in October and there is hardly any chance of postponing its inauguration.
Western world and Israelis, both accuse Iran of misusing its atomic power program for the development of the atomic bombs.
The Stuxnet worm has taken the experts by surprise as being the first to take over the industrial control systems instead of stealing or wangling the data.
The United Nations has also deputed the team to trace out the virus.
Ashgear Zarean, Deputy Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Agency said, “It is expected that the vigilance and skills of Iranian experts would once again thwart the cyber-warfare of the enemies”.
