The Supreme Court judge is facing misconduct proceedings and has failed to prevent the investigation into his behavior, but it has been thrown into invalidate things.
The first step in the actions against Justice Bill Wilson must be done for a second time. This was said by three High Court judges in a decision.
Though it is a type of official pardon it also releases the access for Sir David Gascoigne the judicial conduct commissioner building a far wider allusion for an analysis into Justice Wilson's demeanor.
Justice Wilson supposed that he was satisfied that Sir David’s counsel for a legal conduct panel and the Attorney-General's decision to assign a panel, have both been canceled. This was issued through his lawyers in an on paper declaration.
The judge believed that both were seriously inconsistent in law and now High Court has also confirmed this.
In its conclusion, the High Court said its judgment could considerably setback the course of action but finally it could evade future arguments in relation to the scope of the next step that Justice Wilson could face that is a judicial conduct panel which could urge his removal from office.
