Banks fighting over mid-sized businesses

Banks fightingThe four biggest banks of New Zealand are putting all their efforts to win over the midsized businesses. Meanwhile a study report shows that the bank satisfaction ratings over that issue have either dropped or remained static.

The study was carried out on 7244 business by the market researcher DBM Consultant in the month of August across Australia which showed significant changes in the satisfaction of the banks over the medium sized businesses.

The satisfaction level of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia dropped down to 7.2 from 7.4 out of 10, while the satisfaction level of the Westpac fell down to 7.3 from 7.4 and the level remained static at 7 for the National Australia Bank.

The level also remained unchanged at 6.7 for ANZ. The researcher DBM said the changes were the result of the battle of the big banks over the medium sized businesses.

The managing director of DBM, Dhruba Gupta has said that the sector is lending segment which offers the big four the greatest earning sources has a real strong economic future as the small businesses are very costly to provide service.
