On Saturday, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao had promised to double trade with Greece within five years and to buy Greek bonds when the crisis-hit country returns to worldwide markets.

Wen started a weeklong travel around of European countries in Athens, heading an assignment that signed 11 private business contracts and two state cooperation conformity for trade and cultural affairs.

After meeting Prime Minister, George Papandreou Wen said that as soon as Greece is in dilemma, china will help and it will be the real friendship. He said by 2015 China deliberated to double its yearly trade volume with Greece to $8 billion (euro5.83 billion).

Wen had said that China had always looked forward to help other delicate economies in the EU.

He said that China will make a great attempt to support countries in the euro zone as well as Greece to defeat the worldwide financial crisis and achieve recovery and fiscal adjustment.

China will have a very optimistic position toward the purchase of new bonds which will be issued by Greece.
