According to the announcement made by Skype recently, it has now made its internet based application available on the Android cellphones and the owners of the Android handsets will now be able to use Skype on the cellphones as well.
While the company said that WiFi or a mobile data connection are the two modes on which it can be easily accessed, it is to be mentioned here that the application is already available to the iPhone users.
Moreover, on the Android handsets, users can make free Skype-to-Skype calls and pay to call other land line or mobile phones. However, experts are not so excited about t
he same as the first look of it on Android handsets is a mess which has several unexplained features. For the record, it is going to take time to fix it and to make the app a better proposition for the users.
However, on the other end, the Skype app on the Android handset only work on the 3G network and not on Wi-fi in the case if the Verizon version of the same.
