The customers flying via the Virgin Blue flights again went through massive confusion as the airline carrier returned to the primary operating system of the company. It is to be mentioned here that due to the same the company had to cancel two departing and two arriving flights from Gold Coast and Sydney yesterday morning.
As there was no official word that was passed on to the customers, it is expected that it was the biggest reason for the chaos caused. However, the Virgin Blue spokeswoman said that the cancellations were primarily a part of the plan of the airline which will help it manage things in a better way.
On the other end, the Chief executive officer and managing director of the airline carrier John Borghetti said that the company had rolled out an action plan to solve the IT issues.
It has been reported that the inconvenience caused to the customers were added by the fact that there were unavailable online and telephone services for most of the day and also as the check-in time was increased by one hour.
