Anti-bribery raids – a new roadblock for RBAWhile the law enforcement authorities have recently launched raids on the claims of corrupt conduct by the subsidiary of the Reserve Bank's currency in three countries, it is to be mentioned here that the reserve Bank is the only one that developed the technology to make notes from polymer. In fact, the Reserve Bank had then set up the company Securency with a view to sell the product to the world.

It may be noted here that the international sales methods of the subsidiary are expected to be involved in the charge millions of dollar in bribes in regions like Africa, South America and Asia.

For the record, despite the attempted to raise the issue by a whitsleblower, the Federal police came into action only after the Age newspaper made it noticed in the public eye.

To start with the Britain's Serious Fraud Office raided close to eight homes and one business across the UK in which two arrests took place. Moreover, the police also conducted two raids in Spain which were targeted to catch hold o three British nationals.
