A 30-two year old woman was diagnosed with cancer exactly a year ago. The woman is a mother to a 10-year-old girl, and is just like thousands of New Zealand women all around the world. However, there was a slight change in the way this lady lived exactly a year ago.
Even though the lady in question was upset by the discovery of the cancer, she never gave up hope. While writing about her experience, she stated that she has loved the new discovery and is keen on beating both death and cancer.
The woman was diagnosed with breast cancer on this day twelve months ago. The coincidence is such that the day she was discovered with the condition, fell in the month of Breast Cancer Awareness. And it just happens that this happens to be a month, when everyone across New Zealand happens to be dressed in pink.
Especially the Auckland Sky Tower, that looks like a pink spark plug in the month. There are fundraisers all across the city in bars and night clubs that raise money for the cause of breast cancer. Another thing to notice about the month is that the shops across Auckland make great sales of those $2 pink wigs.
Men get to roam around wearing pink, without anyone misinterpreting them as people with different preferences or cross dressers.
