The 24-years old bubbly blonde is now struggling with every joint of her body which is suffering from arthritis and is so unable to do any work till her doctors find a way to control her illness.

October 12 is being celebrated as World Arthritis Day.

Arthritis though is known to be an old age disease but can affect in any age. Till date total of 10 million have been reported to be suffering from this disease in UK.

According to the Office of National Statistics, around 4.5 percent of the working population of UK is suffering from Arthritis.

According to the Arthritis Research UK, 40 percent of the people leave their jobs jus within five years after being diagnosed with arthritis.

One out of every six employees is affected with arthritis and according to the Work Foundation; the estimated loss to UK economy can be as bigger as £7billion.

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis that has affected more than 8.5million people of UK. It is prevalent in hands, knees, hips, feet and spine.

Rheumatoid arthritis is next most common form of arthritis that has gripped around 700,000 people of UK.

In 2010 New Zealand economy will suffer a loss of $1.48 billion just due to non availability of 25,000 New Zealanders, who are suffering from arthritis.
