The Japanese auto maker Mazda Motor Corp. and Ford Motor Co. shall carry on to toil jointly however they shall move their own ways in China as they anticipate to battle discretely in the world's biggest car market, as per the Ford's chief financial executive.
Lewis Booth, Ford's executive vice president and chief financial officer expressed in a current interview that Ford is having a 30 long years of history for working with Mazda and this will continue.
Moreover, a cooperation spokesman refused to verify or deny the statements by Japan's Nikkei business daily that Ford shall be selling a greater part of its share in Mazda to business in the Sumitomo group and further more companies that will be having very close business relations with Mazda.
The spokesman expressed in an email Friday that the ford's possession stake in Mazda continues to be unaffected. Ford carries on having a good and healthy planned relationship with Mazda and they shall be cooperating in areas of joint profit. They are having no other additional comment on the assumption.
In the conference, Mr. Booth established that Ford is looking to dissolve its 3way project in China including Ford, Chonqing Changan Automobile Co and Mazda.
