Recent reports hint of the rumors circulating about the iPhone-like tethering which comes with iPad and has initiated with the start of iOS 4.2 beta 2.
The speculation is gaining strong support with the proclamation of software’s third beta last week, it is stated that the settings for the same have been removed too.
Snaps have been released by 9to5 Mac, shows that the tethering options which were earlier available are no more available under the ‘Cellular Data’ fields within the settings app on the iPad.
The evading of the tethering feature from the latest beta indicates of several things, hinting the fact that features might have been ruled out of the tablet device, according to the reports of 9to5 Mac.
It hints of a code mix-up with the iPhone causing the traits to feature in a similar software for the iPad. However, it could mean that the traits are not meant for the device and possibly be released in a later beta or in the final release of the 4.2 iOS software.
