Grant Redman is believed to be Coal Seam Manager who has told the reporters that an extensive drilling program has been launched to collect coal seam gas and other natural resources. The digging program has been started in Taranaki in New Zealand.
The main purpose of drilling the ground is to locate the best spot for the collection of fuel and natural coal.
According to experts, engineers can dig the ground up to 800m and 1500m to find the source of coal gas and mineral. However, experts and engineers have started making investigation to detect the specific area which can provide coal and gasoline products. In this connection, small and large size wells are being drilled to test water.
Whangamonona water reservoir/well has been tested by scientists. It the feedbacks of the researchers are positive, there is the possibility of collecting huge volume of coal seam gas and other natural products like coal.
Coal seam gas is in high demand in commercial sectors as per the statements delivered by the fact finding committee. According to researchers, coal seam gas is also used to generate electricity.
