MacBook Air Models Released, Sans Adobe Flash Player

MacBook Air Models Released, Sans Adobe Flash PlayerBuyers of the newly released Apple MacBook Air models have complained that the MacBooks have not been provided with the preloaded Adobe Flash plugin. The MacBooks have for the first time lacked a preloaded flash player, it is also uncertain whether all the MacBooks, which would be sold in the future would consist of a preloaded Adobe flash player.

It has been reported that the newly released Air Models are working fine, after the installation of the flash player.

Apple had earlier announced the release of the 11.6-inch Air Model, followed by the announcement of a 13.3-inch model. Bothe the devices have come with a special feature that allows the MacBook to be switched on instantly.

The reason behind the MacBooks not coming preloaded with the Adobe Flash Player is being stated to be because of the fallout between Apple and Adobe, earlier this year. The spat between the Companies had taken an ugly turn, when the CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs and the CEO of Adobe, Shantanu Narayen had a to and fro fight of words.

The situation had erupted, when Steve Jobs stated that the Adobe Flash Player was not stable on mobile devices and that the reason behind not including the flash player in the iPad was because there would have been compatibility issues.

The war of words between the two heads escalated further with the due passage of time, and finally has reached the current situation. Let’s hope, for the betterment of the technology sector and geeks around the world, the two Companies reach a resolution quickly.
