Ford introduces 2012 SVU Version of Ranger

At the Australian Motor Show in Sydney, the car company Ford presented its new 2012 Ranger and introduces plans to extend the Ranger lineup with a Sports Utility Vehicle (SVU).

In a co-operation with Madzda, the redesigned Madzda BT50 no represents the new Ford Ranger and will probably transform in a planned SVU version.

The new vehicle will be equipped with the same high-quality engines that are used for the Ranger such as a 2.2-litre Ford Duratorq TDCi I4 diesel engine, a 3.2-litre Ford Duratorq TDCi I5 diesel engine and a 2.5-litre Ford Duratec I4 petrol engine.

The all-new SVU Ranger will consist of a brand new cab-on-chassis design that allows seven or eight seating possibilities according to the standards of Project T6 which represents the company’s compact truck platform.

The inner design of the new car type is hailed by experts as highly improved by the car company and described by Ford: “The all-new interior brings new levels of spaciousness to the compact pickup ownership experience.”

The completely finished vehicle is expected to be on offer in developing markets by 2012 at bthe very earliest. The Ford Motor Company is a Michigan-based, multinational co-operation which was founded by famous Henry Ford in 1903.
