Cops to investigate the Feilding robbery

Feilding robberySoon after the Feilding bar was held up at knife-point on the weekend, the cops have started to investigate about the armed robbery.

It has been learned that the offender was armed with a knife and steel bar entered the bar close to 10.40 AM on the Saturday morning and demanded money. The Detective Natasha Allan of Feilding CIB said that after one of the two female staff handed over the cash to the offender, he took no time in getting away from the place and was last seen running on the Bowen Street going towards an alleyway which led to Hobson Street.

Police has said that it is very much interested in talking to everyone who took note of the person who was dressed in black clothes and was more or less acting very suspiciously at the time of the robbery.

The police have already made efforts to be in touch with St Johns Ambulance staff after they saw a person moving away from the scene of the event. It is expected that the coming days will help the police to get closer to the offender.
