The Daily Telegraph has reported that very soon the treatment for cancer will see a breakthrough with the coming in of a vaccine which will prevent cancer from building up. As per the newspaper researchers have found the method which the tumor cells take up to guard themselves from the natural immune system of the body.

Although this will take a while to fully be developed, some initial research has been done to find out why few cancerous cells may be resistant to the immune system.

The discovered that the tumors are connected to each other via stromal cells which are the tissues connecting these cells and these may be responsible in protecting the tumor cells from the immune system’s effect on tumors.

Scientists conducted the research with genetically modified mice and then targeted and wiped out few stromal cells which later slowed down the multiplication of the tumors. The next thing that they did was implicate a protein pair along with the good effects of wiping out stromal cells going down in number while the proteins were neutralized.
