The study was conducted by researchers from the US who found that women have a higher chance of neglecting life-threatening symptoms since they think that suffering from a heart attack is a problem that usually attacks men.

According to a new survey lesser than one-third British women know that heart disease is one of the biggest killer of women with almost two-thirds women thinking that they have a higher chance of dying from breast cancer than any other disease.

According to the data from the UK the life of every one woman out of three is claimed by heart related or circulatory disease which is thrice more than that claimed by breast cancer.

The research in the US, utilized information on 104,000 patients suffering from heart attack symptoms from 568 hospitals between the years 2001 and 2006.
