Plant Health Care (PHC) is a care group which develops naturally obtained crop nutrients for the agriculture and landscape industries. In a new development the PHC has signed another research deal with Syngenta Crop Protection, Inc. (SYT).
This deal has been signed with the aim of evaluating and possibly developing Plant Health Care's Harpin proteinin the form of a foliar spray along with a range of other Syngenta's major products.
Harpin has been proved to be particularly helpful in increasing the yield during trials for a range of crops when they are applied along with other active ingredients. Some more tests will be conducted by Syngenta on Harpin formulations mixed with its own fungicidal, insecticidal and some growth regulating products.
The significant improvements observed in the health of plants and yield will be evaluated among a variety of crops and production situations. They will try and make sure that when one kind of combination proves to be more effective then they will both develop it in full, long-term commercial arrangements.
